VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A traffic stop in Vincennes early Thursday morning ended with four people behind bars on multiple drug charges.
According to the Indiana State Police, a trooper stopped a vehicle on 15th Street near Main Street around 12:43 a.m. after observing it driving down the middle of the roadway.

Three passengers — 29-year-old Bryce Cummings, 33-year-old Kandace Hawkins, and 26-year-old Sarah Liddle, all of Vincennes — were also in the vehicle.
Troopers say all four were removed from the vehicle due to suspicious circumstances. A K9 officer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office assisted and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
During a search, troopers found over 20 grams of suspected heroin, more than 240 syringes, over 50 glass smoking pipes, a small amount of methamphetamine, and more than $1,200 in cash.
Lewis, Cummings, Hawkins, and Liddle were arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail.
They are each facing charges of Dealing Heroin over 12 grams, Possession of a Narcotic, Possession of Meth, Possession of a Syringe, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Troopers say Lewis also had an active warrant for child neglect out of Knox County.
