Water Main Break Could Impact Some Vincennes Residents

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - The Vincennes Water Department is working to repair a water main break that could temporarily impact service to some residents.

According to the City of Vincennes, the break is on Gravel King Road.

The city says the repair may require water to be shut off to households along 15th Street from Main Street to Nicholas Street, from 15th Street to the end of Vigo Street behind Vigo Elementary School, and from 15th Street to Colony Drive.

If a water shutoff is necessary during the repair, service will be restored as soon as possible.

The city did not provide a timeframe for how long the water could be shut off.

15th Street between Dubois Street and Church Street is closed while the water department works in the area.
