Two Men Arrested for Meth Following Traffic Stop in Vincennes

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) – Two men were arrested after deputies discovered narcotics during a traffic stop in Vincennes Thursday evening.
Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a grey Chevy Malibu just before 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of 2nd and Vigo Street.
During the stop, a K-9 unit alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 10 pounds of methamphetamine were found inside.
The driver, Joseph Martinez, and the passenger, Travis Heath, were arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.
Both Martinez and Heath are facing charges related to the possession and distribution of methamphetamine.
