Investigation Continues After Fatal Vincennes House Fire
VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - One person has died following a house fire in Vincennes.
According to the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, the victim was an adult woman.
Officials have not confirmed the identity of the victim.
The fire happened around 10:00 p.m. Monday at a home on North 11th Street.
Firefighters from the Vincennes City Fire Department and Vincennes Township Fire Department battled the fire.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office tells WAKC News Now the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
