Helping His Hands Providing Water to Monroe City Residents Affected by Boil Advisory

MONROE CITY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A local nonprofit is stepping up to help residents affected by the boil advisory in Monroe City.
Helping His Hands will distribute water Friday at Monroe City Town Hall from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Residents are limited to one case of water per household.
Officials ask drivers picking up water to enter from Cleveland Street and exit onto Breckenridge Street.
Monroe City has been under a boil advisory since Thursday afternoon.
The advisory was issued after a water main was repaired.
The boil advisory remains in effect until further notice.
