Storms, Flash Flooding Hits Parts of Northern Knox County

OAKTOWN, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Some areas in northern Knox County remain flooded after a Sunday afternoon storm.
Yards, streets, and roads in and around Oaktown were still under water as the rain moved out around 8:00 p.m.
WAKC News Now visited Oaktown to check out some of the flooding.
Water could be seen rushing over Park and Second Street.
Main Street in front of Da Bar & Grill and Third Street in front of the Oaktown-Busserson Township Fire Department was also flooded.
Storms rolled through Oaktown and northern Knox County around 5:00 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning around 5:45 p.m. for the area, with 2 to 3 inches of rain forecasted.
The storms also brought down tree limbs and power lines.
Power outages are being reported in Oaktown and other areas in Knox County.
Around 9:20 p.m., WIN Energy REMC reported around 668 customers are without power in Knox County.
Duke Energy is reporting 18 customers in Knox County are without power.
