The Bicknell Fire Department received a new fire truck last week.
According to Bicknell mayor Thomas Estabrook, the new truck will replace the old truck which is over 20 years old.
The new truck meets the standards of a Class A pumper and can perform a variety of functions such as hooking to existing fire hydrants and hauling water to neighborhoods that don't have fire hydrants.
Estrabrook said he and the Fire Department is excited about the new firefighting equipment and remain committed to investing in public safety.
