VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - The Vincennes Community School Corporation is helping parents make sure their kids stay safe on the internet.
Officers with the VCSC Police Department will host an internet safety presentation for families on Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m.
The event will be held in Ader Auditorium at Lincoln High School.
The presentation is designed to give parents and guardians practical information and resources to help protect children while navigating online platforms.
“By making parents and children in our community aware of the risks of unmonitored online use, we can hopefully prevent a future tragedy,” VCSC Police Chief Aaron Luce said in a statement.
The presentation is free and open to the public; however, it is intended for adults only.
Parents and guardians are asked to leave children at home.
