Arrest Made Following Hit-and-Run Involving Pedestrian near Vincennes

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - One person has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Vincennes.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says Keeton Walker, 22, was arrested on an initial charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
According to the sheriff’s office, a vehicle described as an older-model gray Toyota 4Runner struck a pedestrian around 7:00 Friday morning on Old Decker Road near Elkhorn Road, south of Vincennes.
Deputies say a side mirror matching the vehicle’s description was found at the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with a facial injury.
The sheriff's office tells WAKC News Now a deputy spotted the vehicle at the Knox County Probation Office around 4:00 Friday afternoon.
Walker was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail, and later released after posting bond.
