The Vincennes Police Department has hired 4 new police officers.
Rookie Officer Roger Deisher, Rookie Officer Jacob Greentree, Rookie Officer Macey Baxter and Rookie Officer Dustin Williams were welcomed to the VPD team on Monday, March 21, 2022.
The new rookie officers are currently going through the 40 hour pre-basic course and will start field training before attending the academemy in August.
The officer's swear in ceremony will take place at 5:00pm on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Vincennes City Hall.
