Vincennes Starbucks Expected to Open This Fall

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - People in Vincennes will soon have another choice for coffee.

A spokesperson with Starbucks told WAKC News Now that the new store on Hart Street is expected to open in October.

Construction on the building, located next to McDonald’s, began in February.

Starbucks is a popular coffeehouse chain known for its wide variety of espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, along with seasonal beverages and on-the-go food options.

The spokesperson says the store plans to employ around 20 people.

The new Starbucks is one of several businesses opening in Vincennes.

Earlier this year, discount retailer Five Below and donut-and-coffee chain Dunkin’ announced plans to open locations in the city.

While construction on Five Below’s building is nearing completion, work on Dunkin’s site has yet to begin.

WAKC News Now has made several attempts to contact both Five Below and Dunkin’ for updates but has not received a response.
