Vincennes Man Arrested Following High Speed Chase



VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A Vincennes man was arrested following a high-speed chase on Thursday morning.


Around 8:00am, Master Trooper Ryan Johnson attempted to stop a 2011 Chrysler minivan for driving 107mph on Highway 50 near Robinson Road.


The driver continued traveling westbound on Highway 50 and southbound on Highway 41 at a high rate of speed.


Master Trooper Gary Goodman deployed stop sticks near the intersection of Highway 41 and St. Thomas Road.


The vehicle was eventually stopped near Highway 41 and Plank Road.


The driver, later identified as 50-year-old Chad Bond of Vincennes, refused to exit the vehicle.


Trooper broke out the window of the vehicle and arrested Bond without further incident.


Bond was booked into the Knox County Jail and charged with Resisting Law Enforcement and Reckless Driving.
