VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A well-known nationwide Italian restaurant chain has closed one of its Vincennes locations.
Fazoli’s on North Sixth Street permanently closed its doors Tuesday.
A sign posted on the door read, “This location is now closed.”
The closure is believed to be connected to financial troubles involving Fazoli’s parent company, FAT Brands, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year.
It is unclear whether the Vincennes location was impacted by the bankruptcy filing or closed for unrelated reasons.
WAKC News Now reached out to FAT Brands on Tuesday for more information, including the reason for the closure and how many employees were affected, but we've not received a response back.
The sign on the door encouraged diners to visit the nearest location, which is on Green River Road in Evansville.
