Vincennes Township Fire Department spent the morning working to clean up from an overnight accident.
The accident happened around 2:40am Thursday morning in the southbound lane of Highway 41 between the tri-level and Hart Street in Vincennes.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a semi on its side, laying over the guardrail. The driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
The driver of the semi refused medical treatment.
The cause of the accident has not been released.
