KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - The United Way of Knox County visited three Knox County schools on Wednesday.
Director Scott Charleston presented checks to teachers and administrators at North Knox Elementary, South Knox Elementary, and the Vincennes Community School Corporation.
The money will support each school’s Kindergarten Jumpstart Program, a summer initiative designed to prepare incoming kindergarteners for the 2025–26 school year—particularly those who haven’t attended preschool.
Students in the program will engage in math and reading activities while becoming familiar with typical kindergarten routines.
