Tiny Rescue: Firefighters Save Kitten Trapped in Vincennes Storm Drain

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - When a tiny feline found itself in a big fix, the Vincennes Township Fire Department pounced into action to save the day.

Late Thursday night, firefighters received a call about a kitten trapped in a storm drain near their headquarters on Hart Street.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, responders arrived quickly and successfully rescued the kitten.

The person who reported the situation was still on the scene when firefighters arrived.

The kitten, now named Leo, has since found a loving new home with the family who called for help.
