VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Repairs are coming soon to a malfunctioning stoplight in Vincennes.
For at least the past week, the light at 6th and State Street has been flashing red in all directions.
Vincennes City Engineer John Sprague says lightning from a recent thunderstorm damaged two intersections — 6th and State Street and 6th and Niblack Boulevard.
The light at 6th and Niblack was fixed the morning after the storm, but the one at 6th and State couldn't be repaired at the time.
Sprague says a contractor is expected to make the repairs on Wednesday.
In the meantime, the intersection is being treated as a four-way stop.
