Section of Willow Street Closes, Another Reopens

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Work continues on State Road 441 in Vincennes.

State Road 441/Willow Street from 9th Street to 13th Street closed to drivers on Wednesday.

Drivers still have access to Raben Tire and Crop Tech.

Contractors are milling pavement and performing inspections in that area.The closure is expected to last about two weeks.

As one section of State Road 441/Willow Street closed, another reopened.

The stretch from 6th Street to 9th Street reopened to drivers on Wednesday.

Work on State Road 441 began earlier this spring.

The route runs along Willow Street from Ramsey Road to 6th Street, follows 6th Street from Willow to Vigo Street, and continues along Vigo Street from 6th Street to the Memorial Bridge.
