Search Warrant Leads to Drug Arrests

A search warrant led to 2 being arrested in Vincennes.

Around 8:30 Monday morning, the Vincennes Police Department responded to a medical call at Towne Place Suites on Willow Street.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Brian Robling in the hotel’s lobby. While talking with Mr. Robling, it became apparent that Robling was under the influence of a controlled substance. Officers also learned that Erica Burnett, who was wanted for multiple outstand warrants, was in his hotel room.

Once officers made it inside the hotel room, they discovered several items commonly associated with drug uses.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers arrested and charged the pair with possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Brian was also wanted in Henry County for a misdemeanor warrant and Erica was wanting in Knox County for 3 felony warrants.
