KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Flooding continues to impact many areas across Knox County.
According to the Knox County Emergency Management Agency, sandbags are available to help residents protect their property.
They can be picked up at the following locations:
• Vincennes Street Department City Garage – 1600 Bayou Street
• Knox County Highway Department – 1472 North State Road 67, Vincennes
Additionally, sandbags are being delivered to the old Edwardsport School at 200 South Third Street.
They will be available on the east side of the building.
Residents are responsible for loading and transporting the sandbags themselves.
The sandbags are free, but officials ask that people only take what they need so there are enough for everyone.
