Monday Night Storms Knock Out Power, Cause Damage in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Strong storms Monday evening caused damage across Knox County.
As of 10:30 p.m., Duke Energy is reporting 622 customers without power in the county. WIN Energy REMC reports another 580 customers without power.
WAKC News Now can confirm that multiple large power poles are down along Essex Road, south of Vincennes—one of which has caught fire.
In Bicknell, several trees and large limbs are down, and part of the roof was ripped off the French Club on Murlin Street.
