Man Faces Multiple Charges After Rollover Crash South of Vincennes

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A man faces multiple charges following a crash Monday morning south of Vincennes.
Emergency crews responded to a rollover crash on Decker Road near Essex Road.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as 33-year-old Karl Wayne Horton, was trapped inside.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Horton was removed from the vehicle with no injuries but appeared impaired.
Deputies say Horton refused to submit to a chemical test at the scene, and they obtained a search warrant to conduct the test.
During the investigation, deputies found a clear plastic bag containing a white substance in the driver’s side sun visor that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Horton was taken to the hospital to be checked before being booked into Knox County Jail.
According to the sheriff’s office, Horton is being charged with operating while intoxicated with endangerment enhancement, OWI refusal, and possession of methamphetamine.
