Lane Closure, Ramp Restrictions Coming to Highway 41 and Willow Street in Vincennes

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Drivers traveling through Vincennes should be aware of changes coming to U.S. 41 and State Road 441/Willow Street this week.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says work will begin on or around Tuesday, September 1, at the southbound Highway 41 off-ramp to State Road 441/Willow Street.

At the same time, the right lane of S.R. 441/Willow Street will be closed between Highway 41 and Emison Street.

The restrictions will allow for the widening of the southbound Highway 41 off-ramp.

The work is expected to take about three weeks to complete, depending on weather conditions.

One lane of traffic will remain open during the project.

INDOT says the work being done is part of a larger project to improve Highway 41 in Knox County.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution and watch for changing traffic patterns while work is underway.
