Knox County Jury Finds Man Guilty of Battery on Pregnant Woman

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A Knox County man has been found guilty of battery resulting in bodily injury to a pregnant woman.

A jury of 11 men and one woman convicted 41-year-old Brandon Stone on Wednesday following a two-day trial.

According to Knox County Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan, Stone admitted to being a habitual offender.

Stone was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury to a pregnant woman, a Level 5 felony, in July 2025.

Circuit Court Judge Monica Carpenter Gilmore scheduled Stone’s sentencing hearing for Monday, May 4 at 11 a.m.
