Investigators Seek Public’s Help in Vincennes Arson Case

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Investigators with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security are asking for the public’s help in solving an arson case in Vincennes.
The fire happened on the evening of Thursday, June 12, at a home located at 429 South 15th Street.
Firefighters with the Vincennes Fire Department and officers with the Vincennes Police Department responded to the scene.
After investigating, officials determined the fire was intentionally set.
According to authorities, someone threw a firework from a vehicle in front of the house, sparking the blaze.
State investigators are urging anyone who may have seen something or has information to come forward.
Tips can be reported anonymously to the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
