KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - The death of an inmate at the Knox County Jail is under investigation.
Jail officers found 38-year-old Michael Oliver unresponsive around 3:15 a.m.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Oliver was alone in a holding cell.
Officers tried CPR, but Oliver was later pronounced dead.
The Indiana State Police are investigating the death.
No other information has been released.
