Good Samaritan Hosting Drug Take Back Day

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - People will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted and expired medications this week.
Good Samaritan Hospital is hosting a Drug Take Back Day on Tuesday, April 21.
Residents can bring medications to hospital staff, who will be set up under the awning at the 6th Street entrance for proper disposal.
Accepted items include vitamins, prescription medications, prescription patches and ointments, pet medications, and over-the-counter medications.
Items not accepted include needles, inhalers, thermometers, aerosol cans, lotions or liquids, and hydrogen peroxide.
The event runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
