KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - It's that magical time of year when costumes come out, pumpkins light up, and candy bowls are filled to the brim!
Halloween is just around the corner, and families in Vincennes and Bicknell are gearing up for a couple of nights of fun, fright, and, of course, sweets.
Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of trick-or-treating this year.
Trick-or-Treating Hours:
In Vincennes, you have two nights to get your spook on:
Wednesday, October 30 - from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 31 - from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, Bicknell will also celebrate on:
Wednesday, October 30 - from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 31 - from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Porch Light Means “Trick or Treaters Welcome!”
Both Vincennes and Bicknell ask those who want to welcome trick-or-treaters to turn on their porch lights as a signal that treats are waiting.
Not only is this a helpful sign for trick-or-treaters, but it’s also a nice way to keep the streets a bit brighter as kids scurry from house to house.
