Front of Decker Town Hall Collapses

DECKER, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - The front of the Decker Town Hall has collapsed.

It happened around 5:20 Tuesday evening.

No one was inside the building when it happened and no injuries were reported.

Officials believe strong winds from a late-afternoon thunderstorm caused the collapse.

The storm also brought down several limbs and branches throughout the town.

Decker Clerk-Treasurer Penny Culp told WAKC News Now that Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday.

Residents needing assistance can contact her directly at 618-928-3811.
