VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Firefighters from multiple departments battled a fire at a local farm Friday night.
According to Assistant Chief Doug Springfield with the Johnson Township Fire Department, the fire broke out in a grain bin at Mouzin Brothers Farms on Main Street Road around 9:00 p.m.
Springfield says crews from Johnson Township, Vincennes Township, Palmyra Township, Harrison Township and the Vincennes City Fire Department worked for about three hours to bring the fire under control.
In a Facebook post, Mouzin Brothers Farms said quick response times from employees, farm managers and first responders helped prevent the fire from spreading.
Information on what started the fire was not available.
