Father Who Admitted to Killing Daughter in Vincennes Sentenced

VINCENNES, Ind. A man arrested and charged with murder in 2023 was sentenced on Monday.

Fritzner Antoine received a 60-year prison sentence for the murder of his daughter, Sterline Antoine Joseph.

The crime occurred on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at a home on Audubon Road in Vincennes.

When officers arrived, they found Joseph dead in the driveway with multiple stab wounds.

According to court documents, Antoine confessed to the killing at the time of his arrest.

Antoine told police that Joseph had disrespected him and repeatedly left her children in his care.
