Downtown Vincennes Welcomes Summer with a Night of Fun

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Friday marks the first day of summer 2025, and the Downtown Vincennes Association is celebrating the season with a new event!

Summer on Main runs from 6pm to 10pm Friday on Main Street in Vincennes.

Organizers say the event will offer something for everyone in the family—from games and activities to live music, a classic car show, food trucks, shopping, and a 21+ area with seasonal adult beverages.

Summer on Main joins the lineup of other seasonal events hosted downtown, including Spring on Main and Autumn on Main.

Downtown Vincennes Association Coordinator Tara Laue told WAKC News Now that a date for this year’s Autumn on Main has not yet been set.
