Disaster Loans Available for Storm Victims in Southern Indiana

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Businesses and residents in southern Indiana may now be eligible for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, following storm damage earlier this summer.
Individuals in Knox, Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Pike, and Martin counties can apply for assistance if they experienced damage from the storms and flooding between June 28 and July 2.
The SBA opened a Disaster Loan Outreach Center has been opened in Daviess County to help with filing claims and answer questions.
It will remain open through July 31.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
Residents and businesses affected by the storms have until September 16, 2025, to submit applications for physical property damage.
The deadline to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) is April 20, 2026.
Small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, and most private nonprofit organizations in the designated counties that suffered substantial economic injury may qualify for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans.
