Cannonball Bridge Closed until Friday

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A bridge connecting southern Knox County to southern Lawrence County, Illinois, is temporarily closed for maintenance.

The Cannonball Bridge, a toll bridge connecting St. Francisville, Illinois, to southern Knox County, will remain closed through the afternoon of Friday, July 17.

The closure is allowing crews to replace railroad ties along the one-lane bridge.

The bridge will be impassable during the closure.

Officials are reminding drivers to obey posted barriers and use alternate routes until the work is complete.
