All Aboard: Vincennes Trolley Adds New Stops Across the City

VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Public transportation in Vincennes continues to grow.
The Vincennes Trolley has announced updates to its route, including the addition of seven new public stops to better serve the community.
The newly added stops include:
Hart Street & 12th Street
Seminary Street between 6th & 7th Streets
6th Street at KCARC Plant 5
Gregg Park at Rainbow Beach
1st Street & Busseron Street
2nd Street & Main Street
Vigo Street & 5th Street
With these additions, the trolley now serves a total of 60 stops throughout Vincennes, helping residents and visitors commute more easily across the city.
In addition to its full route, the trolley makes five guaranteed stops every hour at the following locations:
Walmart – Pharmacy Entrance (top of the hour)
8th Street – Dollar General (11 minutes past the hour)
Vincennes University – 2nd Street, Shircliff Humanities Parking Lot (24 minutes past the hour)
Good Samaritan Hospital – 6th Street by the Canopy (33 minutes past the hour)
Autumn Ridge (43 minutes past the hour)
For all other stops, riders are asked to arrive 5–10 minutes early to one of the designated stops and wave to the driver as the trolley approaches.
The Vincennes Trolley service began in December 2024 and continues to operate free of charge.
Hours of operation are:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Vincennes Trolley is funded by several grants through the city and is operated by the YMCA's VanGo program.
