The Knox County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating an attempted child abduction.
According to a post on Knox County, IN Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Around 3:20pm Sunday afternoon, an 11 year old girl was playing on the playground equipment at Oubache Trails Park close to the administration building when a man approached the girl and attempted to abduct her. The child was able to free herself and get help.
Police describe the subject as a white male wearing all black with a black mask covering his face.
