The hot weather Knox County has been experiencing this week has many rushing to a pool to stay cool, including Rainbow Beach in Vincennes.
Some who visit Rainbow Beach this Friday, June 17, will be in for a 'cool' surprise.
Vincennes City Councilman Tim Salters announced on Tuesday, June 14, the first 100 guests to visit the pool will have their admission paid for by the City Council.
Salter's said that himself and other council members "can't wait to cool down with you".
Rainbow Beach, located inside of Gregg Park at 2204 Washington Avenue in Vincennes, is open 12:00pm until 6:00pm with tot time from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
