Madonna K. Bushey, 77, passed away at 5:20 am on May 15, 2022 at BridgePointe Health Campus. Madonna was born on October 19, 1944 in Vincennes and she was the daughter of Edward Harper and Audrey (Elkins) and Harold Stone. Madonna married William "Wayne" Bushey on August 24, 1963 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2019.
Madonna enjoyed playing Bingo and going to casinos. She also enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, watching golf on television, and she was a huge Elvis fan. Most importantly though she always enjoyed attending any event her grandchildren were involved with.
Survivors include her children, Keith Bushey of Bloomington, IN, Kip Bushey and his wife Amy of Vincennes, Kraig Bushey and his wife Trisha of Bloomington; her siblings, Edward Harper of Portland, TN, Terry Harper and his wife Mary of Vincennes, Marilyn Stone and her husband Dennis of Vincennes, Jim Harper and his wife Ellen of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Brittney, Noah, Ethan, Tristan, Aubrey, Hank Bushey; and one great grandchild on the way. Madonna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne Bushey, daughter, Roxanne Bushey and a brother William Harper.
Friends may visit with Madonna's family from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes and from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Phil Keesen will officiate and Madonna will be laid to rest next to her husband Wayne in Memorial Park Cemetery.
