A coal miner has passed away following an accident late Friday night.
The accident reportedly happened underground at the mine in Oaktown around 11:15pm.
In a statement release by Sunrise Coal, the Federal Mine Safety Health Administration, Indiana State Investigators of Indiana Bureau Mines as well as official from Sunrise Coal are currently investigating accident.
No other information has been released.
