On Thursday, the Town of Monroe City announce on Facebook that they were awarded $195,412.50 from INDOT for the Community Crossing Project. The money from INDOT will be used to pave streets inside of the city.
Monroe City was also awarded $275,000.00 from IHCDA (Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority). This money will be used to fix up houses inside the city.
